Pure Rock KNAC is taking over the legendary WHISKY A GO GO in Hollywood for one night only.

We’re dragging the original KNAC DJs out of retirement (or rehab, you pick) to get on the mic and host the whole fkn thing. They’ll be telling the stories they were never allowed to tell on the air.
The original purveyors of Pure Rock return: THRASHER • LONG PAUL • GONZO GREG • DANGEROUS DARREN • PHILTHY PHIL • GREGG STEELE • JACK TRASH • STEW … and more maniacs still loading in.
Plus an appearance by “Radio Cathouse“, and MTV big-shot RIKI RACHTMAN.
And the bands?
You know our history. You know our friends. We’re not ready to unleash the full lineup just yet, but trust us. You don’t want to be the one who hears about it the next day. This will be a night of KNAC legends, new blood, and a few surprises that will blow the roof off the place.
We can reveal that John, Joey, Gonzo, Phil and Jeff of Armored Saint will be in the house to hang out for Q&A and share some tales, and hopefully be part of the crazy-ass Frankenstein jam with other bands that will be announced soon.
So yeah, we’ll be pulling back the curtain for intimate Q&A discussion sessions, putting the legends on the spot. You’ll get to hear the real, uncensored “war stories” straight from the artists who lived them, sitting side-by-side with the original KNAC DJs and Program Directors who had the guts to play them. This is your chance to ask the questions you’ve always had and hear the raw, unvarnished truth about the music, the mayhem, and the magic from the people who were in the eye of the storm.
