KNAC IS 40. We Raged AT THE WHISKY.
THANK YOU, Everyone!
First, a super-huge thanks to YOU for your support in making the #KNAC40 Anniversary Celebration at the Whisky on January 8th, truly epic!
After that, there are so many people that really put their backs into making this all happen, and making it huge! First and foremost, our intrepid and tireless promoter, Nancy Sayle.
From rounding up the talent, merch, videos, and crafting the run of show; to actually herding all the cats throughout the night, none of this would have been possible without her.
Thanks to her efforts, we raised just shy of $15,000 for the Rock Against MS Foundation – so you should give yourself a slap on the back! (Not sure exactly how you do that, but you get the idea.)
Not only did you help celebrate the most bad-ass radio station in the nation that launched countless careers in metal and rock, but you also helped support an incredible charity.
In fact, you can further support Rock Against MS by grabbing some additional merch; more on that at the end of this note.
And now, more credits:
Much gratitude to “Full Metal” Jackie Kajzer, Katherine Turman, and Keith Cunningham for artist and media outreach.
All the love to the artists and bands that offered their time and talent to make an amazing evening!
All of the KNAC staff that made it out, but in particular: Stew Herrera, Mike Stark, Gregg Steele, Ted “Thrasher” Prichard, “Filthy” Phil Hulett, Missy Haffley, Veronica Wheeler … and Riki Rachtman for hosting all the madness.
Of course the staff and crew at the World Famous Whisky A Go Go.
And our generous sponsors: S.I.R. Entertainment Services, California Love Drop, CS Customs, Schecter Guitar Research, and Ghost Tequila.
There are so many more that are not listed here; please know that everyone’s contribution was vital to our success. Again, thank you!
NOW A WORD ABOUT MERCH:
We have some reserved merch packs that were not picked up at the show. If one of them might be yours, please drop a note to cs@knac40.com with the email address that you used to order so that we can arrange to get you your stuff.
We do still have some limited edition #KNAC40 swag available; shirts, pins, and travel mugs, as well as new, original, and still-sticky KNAC 105.5 bumper stickers!
Proceeds are a further contribution to Rock Against MS.
One more time. Thank you. You guys are truly unfknblvbl!
About the foundation: ROCK AGAINST MS FOUNDATION is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that rocks hard for people living with multiple sclerosis. Through our three-tiered grant system—covering daily care, quality-of-life support, and emergency funding—and our flagship community hub, THE ROCK HOUSE, which we are raising funds to build, so we can help those affected by MS live boldly, independently, and with unstoppable spirit. Our mission is to heal the mind, body, and soul, turn up hope, and build a loud, united community that refuses to let MS call the shots.
Celebrating THE NOISE, THE REBELLION, AND THE STATION THAT COULD NOT BE SILENCED.
